Handcrafted, one-of-a -kind, Western Decor clock is made from piece of barn wood that is at least 100 years old or more. The board actually has the old nail holes where it was nailed to the barn.
Has used horseshoe nailed on with old square cut nails and also has two very old strands of barbwire wrapped around it.
Has wire hanger on back for hanging.
Clock is about 27 inches tall x 12 inches wide x 2 inches thick.
Due to the nature of wood grain and aging there will never be another one exactly like this one.
Numbers are old square cut nails painted black.
I actually made this clock in 1985. I had a special order come in and removed the clock movement to use in it. This clock was put in storage and has not seen the light of day since 1985 until I discovered it hidden away and put a brand new Seiko battery movement in it just this week.
Clock movement is a Seiko battery movement that uses 1 "AA" battery which can last from 1 to 3 years. Gold hour and minute hands along with a gold sweep second hand.
***** Battery not included...the nice folks at the Post Office have a habit of putting packages that tick in a big bucket of water before they call the bomb squad and unlike my Timex, I doubt that these movements are that waterproof **** ; )
